Star Point Quilting is a long arm quilting service run by Rachel Boucher out of Biddeford Maine. Here at Star Point Quilting, we do our quilting on a Gammill Statler Stitcher (affectionately called Irene). Irene has a 26" throat and is mounted on a 12 foot table to handily manage quilts up to 108" wide!
Artistic from an early age, Rachel Boucher learned to quilt from her mother (as did most of her friends!). A quilter for over 15 years and a Statler owner for two, she loves working with color and bringing quilts and their people together. Her main goal in life is to help wrap the world in quilted hugs.
Primarily working in edge to edge designs, Rachel is always working to expand her portfolio of techniques.
When not quilting, she can be found in the mountains or learning new programming languages.
